2. Purpose of Processing
We process personal data obtained exclusively through Google Analytics, in order to:
- Analyse traffic, browsing behaviour and website usage statistics.
- Improve the user experience, structure and content of our site.
The data collected is statistical in nature and does not allow any user to be directly identified.
3. Type of Data Collected
Google Analytics uses first-party and third-party cookies to collect anonymous information about users' browsing. The data that may be collected includes:
- IP address (truncated)
- Browser type and device
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Traffic source (how the user reached the website)
4. Legal Basis
The legal basis for the processing of data is the legitimate interest in continuously improving the quality of our service and the browsing experience of users, in accordance with Article 6.1.f) of the GDPR.
5. Data Retention
The anonymised data generated by Google Analytics will be retained for a maximum period of 26 months, after which it will be automatically renewed. Once this period has elapsed, Google will permanently delete user data and associated identifiers.
6. Data Disclosure
We do not transfer or disclose personal data to third parties, except where required by law. Google, as a web analytics service provider, acts as a Data Processor in accordance with the Google Analytics data protection clause.
7. Rights of Data Subjects
You may direct your request to the Data Controller to exercise the rights recognised under the GDPR:
- Access: Confirm whether your personal data is being processed and access it.
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): Request the deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary.
- Restriction of processing: Request the restriction of the use of your data.
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or transfer it to another controller.
- Objection: Object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds or to the sending of advertising.
